Our Story... an Old Dog learning a New Trick
After an occasionally successful career as an actor (and bartender), Scott left “the business” in search of what he hoped would be a more stable path in banking. Over the next fourteen years, he learned a great deal in finance, but never lost his love for the hospitality industry that had once supported his acting habit.
During that time, Scott discovered home brewing and the vibrant world of craft beer. Drawn especially to the sense of community found in small, neighborhood breweries, he began developing a business plan of his own. In less than a year, he refined the concept, secured investors, and found the perfect location for a brewery in a warm, welcoming small community that he now calls home.

Yellow Lab Lager

Ontario Craft Brewing Award Winner
This craft lager is crisp, refreshing and sessionable with subtle hints of cracker, floral and citrus. Delicious from start to finish.
Single Malt Scottie
4.7% ABV 12 IBU
Ontario Craft Brewing Award Winner
This Scottish Ale is simply made with a single malt and small amounts of roasted barley creating deliciously subtle nutty, toasty and caramel notes.
Chihuahua Mexican Light Lager
3.5% ABV 9 IBU
This delicious, Mexican-style lager is crisp, light and refreshing. Perfect with a slice of lime or on its own.
Honey Hound Cream Ale
4.9% ABV 18 IBU
Chow Chow Cherry Sour
4.2% ABV 15 IBU

We have 8 taps in our taproom and are constantly trying out new recipes... we usually have 3 or 4 of these "New Pups" on tap and/or canned and available in our Retail Store... come on in and try a flight or two or take some beer to go.... maybe you'll find Your New Best Friend!
